Next week, I go to football camp. God is calling me to be a witness to them. My goal is to remind them what they are called to as Christians, and if the are not to move forward in whatever season they are in.

I am going to go home and keep the mindset that I need to be sharing my story and gospel with anyone that I am able to. And I will pray for boldness so I can give God all the glory that I can give Him.

Talked to a man in the park watching his daughter play. This is the first converstion I initated on my own this week without anyone else with me. I dont know if it had any effect but i guess i dont have to do i?

Met with my friend from yesterday. We had a really nice time together, but didn't get too deep. She promised to write so I'm hopeful to continue our realtionship.

Unfortunately I didn't get out much today. I have been fighting a cough all week and today I got a bit of a fever and had to go back to the room Dispite that God is really working and it has been so refreshing to hear the wonderful testimonies of the students tonight at the celebration service. God is good!

Today I did a lot of plowing which is needed in our area. Sometimes I forget that that is not preparing for the work, it is the work. God is good!

Today the Lord saved me from being hit by a tree in a tornado or straight line wind storm! I was able to get under a bus stop with 3 other people. I was not afraid because I knew God was in control.

Crosspoint had sweet time with eachother and with the Lord today. We prayed by a mostly empty chruch building. Our prayer and burden was that Crosspoint would never be about a building, but would be a true kingdom community of faith.

Went back to the park today and had a great day meeting people. I wish I knew German, but some of them did speak English. The people here are open and very interesting. Sowed good seed.

Today the Lord gave our group several opportunities to sow the seeds of the Gospel. One of the best blessings of the day was seeing my daughter sowing with 3 teenage girls while my son was engaging 2 teenage boys. What a wonderful day!!

Went back to the park and met many families in the park. We tried to talk about important things but there was either language barriers or they would talk of something else. We will see many of them again tomorrow.

We had our house church at a riverside park today. We then went and got some ice cream, the best I ever had. I met some guys at a park and we talked for about an hour. They said that we could meet them tomorrow.

Today I met up with the 2 guys I met yesterday at the park. I brought my football and they were very intersted in that. I tried to go deeper in conversation but they didn't respond. I am supposed to play soccer with them Thurs.

Today I met 3 girls who were all from Germany. One lived in America for 2 years so she spoke English and I talked to her. I got her email address and she gave it to the otehrs. I hope I can talk to them tomorrow.

Met a gal today at the park and we are meeting again tomorrow at 3. Had a good day. Ate some good German food for dinner.

I had fun playing at the web park today. I met a little boy but I forgot his name.

Great time out today. Met a handful of poeple. C. and I are going to connect with a young Turkish man that works a bakery counter. Kids are doing great. NO complaining from them.

Lets see, I have no idea what to say, because there is so much to say!! After lunch we prayerwalk then try to make and start relationships with people. We met a couple kids today with great potential!

I was praying this morning, doubting a little about how going out to establish relationships was going to work and I asked God to increase my faith. Not 30 minutes later a non-believer who is traveling and studying in our hostel asked me if I was an American and if I was at the bible conference. He asked me if he could come and listen so we connected him with one of the interns here. He is desperatly seeking the truth. We had a great day connnecting with people in the parks. No complaining from the kids.

Today my friends and I went to the park while the rest of the group did the lesson. It was called Mindful Mysteries. We went to two parks.

We are getting good training in the morning before we head out. Yesterday we were taught about plowing the field- today we heard a talk on sowing-very good preparation for sharing our lives with others.

We went on our first trip to target area. It rained all day, but very interesting. I saw people of every race imaginable, not just Turkish, which are in our area.

We are safe and sound. The kids are troopers and are sying that this has been the longest day ever. We saw some of the city today to try to stay awake. Too much to tell -- You'll get an e-mail showing a website you can check every day.

I was glad we arrived in one piece, although exhausted. I was also gratified to be able to converse with the girl at the front desk of the hostel in German -- and she understood! Praise the Lord and Lord help me speak up through the week.
